Hugh's News has enjoyed the trust of the people of the IPHC and the body of Christ. We are committed to serving IPHC ministries and the body of Christ worldwide.
There is no doubt about it that Hugh's News continues to get the news out with speed and accuracy.
I am dependent upon so many people who feed the news to me via e-mail, fax, etc. In order to make sure the news is correct, we go to great lengths to verify the story or news article.
Everyone is important and no one is without significance.
It was Jesus Who said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). Although this saying of our Lord is not recorded in the four Gospels, the Apostle Paul instructs the elders of the church at Ephesus about the blessing of giving. We are grateful to Dr. Luke, the first church historian, for this remarkable story. It is a moving scene and after Paul had said these words "he knelt down with all of them and prayed. They all wept as they embraced him (Paul) and kissed hm. What grieved them most was his statement that they would never see his face again. Then they accompanied him to the ship" (NIV).
I have discovered that the word "blessed" here means more profitable and more fruitful. God can only bless what I give. I have been experimenting with this saying of Jesus for a number of years. I am constantly looking for opportunities to give of the resources God has given me to bless others. The results have been rewarding and fulfilling and I have gone on my way rejoicing at what God has done with what He has allowed me to give. Everything I have in this life has been given to me by God. To share those resources to bless others is a joy of my life.
We have a new year with new challenges. Your financial gifts are needed to hep me walk though the open doors that are being opened. You are a vital part of this ministry, and I hope you will be able to say, "Hugh's News is my newsletter." When you give of your resources to help me, at that moment it will become your ministry, just as much as it is mine.
