We are looking forward to a great Homecoming and Feast of Ingathering at Holmes Bible College this year. Many of the alumni and friends are telling us that they plan to attend.
The Feast of Ingathering will be held in the sanctuary of Holmes Memorial Church on Buncombe Street and Briggs Avenue in Greenville, SC, at 7 p. m. on Thursday evening, September 30, 2010. You are cordially invited to attend this glorious event.
The Rev. Mr. Danny Rollins has written a historical drama about N. J. Holmes to be presented at this evening service at Holmes Memorial Church. This special drama entitled "N. J. Holmes: A Man of Faith and Power," will be presented. It is a great drama about N. J. Holmes and the early days of the college, and the transition to Dr. Paul F. Beacham. This drama will capture your attention by recalling the rich history of Holmes Bible College, and the blessing it has meant to the Pentecostal Holiness Church, as well as many other Pentecostal churches, namely, the Assemblies of God, Church of God, Congregational Holiness Church, Free-Will Baptist, and more.
It is always such an exciting time to have the ladies of Women's Ministry to visit the campus each fall. We look forward to their coming to our campus. We are grateful for the ladies of the Pentecostal Holiness Church who work diligently throughout the year to raise money to support Holmes Bible College. The Feast of Ingathering is a rich tradition sponsored by the Women's Ministries in local churches in the conferences that surround our campus. Their valiant efforts in fund raising has been fruitful and productive in helping to meet the many expenses of Holmes. Their contributions have been a tremendous blessing to the college, and their generosity over the years has bolstered our spirits and stirred our faith in God Who is known as Jehovah-Jireh--the God Who sees and provides.
Holmes Bible College is the oldest continuously running Bible college in the world. We want to give God all the praise, adoration, honor, worship, and thanksgiving for His bounty.
