During the Advent Season, I always enjoy reading the Christmas story in the Gospels, especially in the Gospel of Luke.
I am always impressed that God dispatched Gabriel, an archangel, to speak to Zacharias, who would become the father of John the Baptist; and then, to the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus. To get a visit from Gabriel you would have to be someone very special. I think it would frighten me. You see, Gabriel said he stood in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to Zacharias and bring him these glad tidings. But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time" (Luke 1:19-20, NKJV).
Unbelief will always get us in trouble. It certainly did for Zacharias.
Gabriel was also sent to Mary, the mother to be of Jesus. He said, "For with God nothing is ever impossible and no Word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment" (Luke 1:37, AMP).
For with God--nothing is ever impossible
No Word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.

"Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work" (2 Corinthians 9:6-9, NIV).
