An Old-fashioned Tent Revival in Yukon, OK will feature three great preachers, May 24-29.
The pastor canceled the revival service the first night, Tuesday, May 24, due to threatening tornadoes, high winds and rains. However, the tent is standing tall, and the nightly services are continuing as originally planned.
Have you ever heard of Active Church in Yukon, OK?
Well, now you have. This church was planted by Deral Hardy, a graduate of Southwestern Christian University three years ago.
He has informed me of an Old-fashioned Tent Revival he is promoting May 24-29.
What caught my attention was the three preachers he has engaged to preach in these services out under the big tent. The preachers are: Dr. Terry Tramel, Dr. Bob Ely, and Dr. Leroy Baker. They are among the finest preachers and evangelists on planet earth.
The revival services begin at 7 p. m.
Dr. Terry Tramel will be preaching Tuesday and Wedneday, May 24 and 25.
Dr. Bob Ely will preach Thursday and Friday, May 26 and 27.
The grand finale will feature the one and only camp meeting preacher, Dr. Leory Baker, on Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29.
The music will consist of the old hymns and Gospel songs, and sung by the ministers' families. I am almost positive that Leroy Baker will sing his original song, "God's Got An Army."
The tent revival is located at Active Church 4200 N. Mustang Road, Yukon, OK 73099.

Pastor Deral Hardy
[Editor's Note: It occurred to me that what we can do to help Pastor Deral Hardy prepare for the revival that God would like to give Yukon and surrounded towns can be achieved on our knees before te Lord.
We can do that best through our prayers. Let us ask God to send an old-fashioned Holy Ghost revival that will bring Holy Ghost pungent conviction in sinners' hearts, they will truly repent and turn to God and place their trust in Jesus Christ; and that Christians will be revived, and set on fire to tell the Good News of salvation.
Deral Hardy, the pastor, is the son-in-law of Bea and Garry Vavak.
Let us pray for the weather conditions--no storms, tornadoes, wind or rain. May God bless this young pastor and his people. I greatly admire Pastor Hardy for taking a risk, using old-fashioned methods to reach his community for God with the message that never changes.
Who knows what God will do to honor this young pastor and his congregation in this revival effort. God can send the people from all over the area to hear the Gospel preached. Great singing always precedes revival.
