[Editor's Comment: I am grateful that our loving Lord permitted me to meet Brother Albert Rodriguez and his lovely wife, Hermelinda, in December 1994, in Houston, TX, at the Christmas Pastor's and Wives Retreat for the Texas Conference when Bishop Leroy Baker was superintendent. They invited me to preach in their church on Sunday, and we, Melvine and I, traveled with Leroy and Evelyn Baker to San Antonio. I preached for Brother Rodriguez and Leroy preached at another church.

It's a long drive from Houston to San Antonio, but it is a glorious trip when you are riding with dear friends like Leroy and Evelyn Baker. What fellowship and sweet communion we had with the Bakers on that trip. When we got back to Houston the Bakers took us to Landry's Seafood Restaurant. I love seafood and I do declare it was the best seafood I had ever tasted. May God increase Landry's Seafood Restaurants.

I have written all of this to let you know that that weekend was a turning point in my life and that of Melvine.  It was one of those seasons of life when God was opening a new chapter in our lives. We praise God for His leading and directions for life and ministry.

May God bless Hermelinda and their family in these days of sorrow and grief. I pray that God will meet every financial need for Grace Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church, and that God will provide the funds to pay off their mortgage debt on this lovely church facility. God owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and if necessary, He can sell some of His cattle and send the money to the church leaders.]
