The Rev. Joe Iaquinta to be honored at GMC on Tuesday, September 28, 2010

The General Superintendent of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, Presiding Bishop Ronald W. Carpenter, Sr., his staff, and the employees of the Global Ministry Center in Bethany, OK, will celebrate the life and legacy of the Rev. Mr. Joe Iaquinta on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at 4 p. m. in the C. H. Springer Conference Room.

Joe began his time of service in 1983 in Evangelism USA under Dr. Vinson Synan. He continued to serve in Evangelism under Dr. Jesse Simmons and Former Bishop James D. Leggett. It was during Bishop Leggett’s tenure as the Executive Director of EVUSA that the New Evangelism Technology (NET) was established with Joe serving as the director of this new ministry. He has continued to serve the GMC faithfully until the present.

Joe will be leaving the ministry of the GMC as of September 30, 2010. He leaves behind a lifetime of humble service, significant contributions, wonderful memories, and astounding accomplishments. Joe is greatly loved by everyone and will be greatly missed in days to come. Thank you, Rev. Joe Iaquinta, for your Christ-like spirit and your service mentality to the body of Christ and the IPHC.

[Editor's Note: It is virtually impossible to add to what Bishop Carpenter, Sr. writes. However, I would like to go on record by saying that I have known Joe Iaquinta since he began work at our headquarters, now called Global Ministry Center. He has been a great resource person for me time and time again. Whatever I have needed to do my work as the director of Chaplains Ministries or writing an article, he was the man who would always come through to help me. Under his leadership the IPHC has come of age in this technological age. I pray that Joe's retirement years will be fruitful and fulfilling. Joe is a friend more valuable than gold or silver.]
