I believe it is true that those Christians who endeavor to put God first in their lives, and apply Biblical principles of stewardship discover how God enables them to give far more than they ever dreamed or thought of before. God always keeps His promises, and is able to make all grace and His favor to abound in our lives, so that we can give to good causes that are fruitful and productive.

Hugh's News provides a news resource for the people of God who are not getting these news stories anywhere else. They rely on Hugh's News for instant, up-to-date, fast-breaking news stories. This newsletter with its commentaries is touching the hearts of hundreds of people all across the United States and around the world. Presently, there are people reading Hugh's News in more than 20 foreign countries. There are more than 5,000 readers of this rapidly growing newsletter that only God could have raised up. I give Him all the glory and honor for what He has done.

While Hugh's News is supported by some of my closest friends, yet there are hundreds of regular readers that may not have considered giving to help support this ministry.

You may be wondering why does Hugh Morgan need any money to do his newsletter? That is a good question. I would like to try to answer it as briefly as I can.

In order to get you the news rapidly and without delay, I am paying for high speed Internet services, ink cartridges, reproduction paper, Premium Plus Photo Paper, maintenance and service fees to send out the newsletter by Mail Chimp, consultant fees, telephone and fax expenses, charges for the use of credit cards, and fees on each contribution, costs for hosting the website and other fees associated with that process, and occasional travel to cover news stories that require my physical presence, to name a few. In March, I was required to do an annual registration with the Georgia Secretary of State as a non-profit organization. That fee has now gone up to $50 each year.

Although I have central heat and air conditioning in our home, it gets awfully hot in my office over the garage and up near the roof during the summer months here in Georgia where I live and work. As a result, I have had to invest in a window air conditioning unit. I installed it a little over a year ago, and it is the best investment I have made. It has made my office comfortable in the hot summer days here in Georgia. However, it has increased the cost of my electric bill quite considerably. Your contributions made that purchase possible. I want you to know I am grateful for your concern for my comfort while working to produce this newsletter.

When I ask for money for this ministry, I try to do it the Biblical way. So, if anyone gets offended, he or she will be offended because of the Word.

Jesus said, "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened" (Luke 11:9-10, NIV).

James, a half brother of our Lord Jesus Christ, wrote in his epistle, " . . .you do not have because you do not ask" (James 4:2, NKJV).

I need your support now. We are facing new challenges and opportunities that will require careful management of the financial resources that come into this electronic newsletter ministry. It is my desire to continue to be a good steward of the money that is entrusted to Hugh's News, Inc.
