Hugh's News is an electronic newsletter that is dedicated to bringing you the news of the church that you may not be able to get anywhere else. God has given us the ability to publish fast-breaking news stories almost immediately.
Our role is to help keep you connected with other people that you know and love.
There is an old adage that goes like this:
"Money is not every thing; but, it is the next thing to oxygen."
We are all experiencing the effects of the economic meltdown. Millions of Americans have lost their jobs, many have lost their homes through mortgage foreclosures, and giving to the church, in many areas, has decreased. We are learning to cut expenses, and live with less.
However, there are many Americans who still believe in the supernatural and that God answers prayer and blesses those who tithe and give. If ever we needed to learn to trust God to provide for all of our need it is now. I am confident that God is our Source, and that He will move upon those who should give to this ministry as He directs.
As you consider prayerfully and thoughtfully how you will give in 2011 above the tithes that belong to your local church, I hope you will give consideration about giving something to Hugh's News, Inc.
This first month of January will come to an end next Monday, January 31. As of this date, we have only received two letters with contributions for this ministry this month.
May I encourage you to ask God what He would have you to give to Hugh's News, Inc. to help me pay the bills for the cost of producing this news service. You can partner with me in this exciting ministry of Christian journalism and evangelism.
