[Editor's Note: Greta Campbell was selected a few years ago as Hugh's News Woman of the Year. I have known her since 1963 when I pastored my first church in Alabama, Brownville Pentecostal Holiness Church in Conecuh County, near Evergreen. She and her trio conducted a two-week revival that saw many saved, sanctified and baptized with the Holy Spirit. It was a revival that shook the county by changing the lives of people who sought and found God or God found them. Greta Campbell, Ramona Garrison and Pat Welsh made up that trio.
Melvine and I were privileged to go to the Holy Land a few years ago with Greta and her brother-in-law, Pastor Phillip Hart, pastor of the Flatwoods Pentecostal Holiness Church in Elbert County, GA. Greta and her trio come every year to the annual homecoming of this county church that always draws a large congregation.
