I have some exciting news to share with you later this week. I am awaiting the photos so I can give you a better report.
Melvine and I were privileged to travel to College Park, MD, on Sunday, January 9, 2011. Pastor Jamil Khan invited me to preach at Maranatha Fellowship P. H. Church. Chaplain, Captain Jamie Braswell, USAF, his wife, Sandra, and teenage children, Preston and Abbie came to the church, and we were able to have Sunday dinner with the pastor and several members of the church, along with Chaplain Braswell and his family.
We checked into the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center Hotel for the week on Sunday afternoon, i.e., until Thursday afternoon as we were involved in Chaplain Endorser conferences.
The Chief of Chaplains of the Army, Navy, and Air Force were present on Thursday and addressed us as endorsers.
We were able to connect with several chaplains in the area when we had the Centurion Banquet on Tuesday evening, January 11, 2011.
