Bethany, OK. - The Southwestern Christian University women's basketball team improved to 3-2 on Friday evening, November 12, 2010, at the Pickens-Springer Gymnasium, demolishing the Ozark Christian University Lady Ambassadors by a final score of 90-30.
Looking for redemption after recording losses earlier in the week against Southern Nazarene University and Southwestern College, the Lady Eagles snatched the lead early against Ozark Christian, posting a 54-8 lead at the end of the first half.
Twelve Lady Eagles scored in SCU's Homecoming matchup against the Lady Ambassadors. Natasha Flynn, a junior from Enid, Oklahoma, posted a team high 12 points and five rebounds. Tia Morris, a junior from Enid, Oklahoma totaled in 11 points and two assists while Bailey Wilkerson, a freshman from Cashion, Oklahoma chipped in 10 points and four assists. Kandra Demery grabbed six rebounds for the Lady Eagles.
The Lady Eagles will travel to Shawnee, Oklahoma on Tuesday, November 16th to take on St. Gregory's University at 6 p.m.
