SCU's Theatre Department presents "A Taste of Broadway with a Little Opera"

The Southwestern Christian University music theatre department will be presenting their spring performance, "A Taste of Broadway With a Little Opera," on March 31st - April 2nd. Each night will include a 7 p.m. show packed full of Broadway hits, including classic songs and dances that any audience would enjoy listening to.

                      

The audience will get a sampling from Broadway hits such as "Fiddler on the Roof," "The King and I," "My Fair Lady," "The Barber of Seville," and "Les Miserables." Each sampling will include three to five songs from the musical.

Billie Boston will hold the roll of stage director for "My Fair Lady," "The King and I," "Fiddler on the Roof," and "Les Miserables" while Ted Ryals will be in charge of "The Barber of Seville." The music director for the production will be Ray Ballew with accompaniment by Gari Kyle.

The cast is comprised of a number of Southwestern Christian University music theatre students, former students, and close relations to the Southwestern Christian University family.

If you live in the SCU area and are interested in attending a performance, tickets will be available for purchase at the door and will cost $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens, and $5 for students.
