You and I are invited to be partners in believing and prevailing prayer for the miraculous healing of Mrs. Rhonda Mills, wife of the Rev. Mr. W. A. Mills, senior pastor of Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Holmes Bible College.
Rhonda has had numerous tests and several surgeries in more than 40 days of hospitalization at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. Presently, she is not allowed any food by mouth so as not to compromise the progress of her recovery. Of great concern at this time is her nutritional health, which has diminished in recent days. Pray that the corrective surgery will heal completely, and for God's grace to persevere through this ongoing process will sustain her and meet every emotional, spiritual, and physical need.
Rhonda's theme song has become, "I'll Be Home for Christmas."
As we pray for Rhonda we must not forget to pray for W. A. and their children. Illness and hospitalization takes its toll on every member of the family, especially the spouse.
Pastor W. A. Mill is providing daily updates on his facebook wall should any of Hugh's News readers wish to stay abreast of the latest developments regarding Rhonda's condition. His facebook profile may be accessed at https://www.facebook.com/william.a.mills.
[Editor's Comment: W. A. and Rhonda are special friends of Melvine and me. His father and mother were classmates of mine when I was a student at Holmes Bible College. I preached at their church a few years ago on a Veteran's Day Sunday when his church planned and performed a most impressive program to honor our men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of our nation. The church was filled to capacity that day.]
