As an alumus of Holmes Bible College and a member of the Board of Trustees, I am committed to recruiting students for the college.
When I enrolled at Holmes Bible College in the fall of 1957, I had already attended Emmanuel College one year, spent three years in the United States Marine Corps, and had completed another year of college at Asbury College in Wilmore, KY.
Although I had not planned to attend Holmes Bible College, God placed a hunger in my heart to study the Bible, and I felt a strong leading of the Holy Spirit to enroll at Holmes Bible College. I obeyed that prompting, and I am so glad I did. It changed my life forever.
My main purpose for attending this Bible college was to study the Bible. I can tell you I was not disappointed. I was able to study the entire Bible for three years under the teaching of Dr. Paul F. Beacham, and the Rev. Mr. Jesse Daniels. Dr. Beacham taught the New Testament and Mr. Daniels taught the Old Testament. They were outstanding Bible teachers, non better.
The basis or foundation for any education is the Bible. I hold this Book, the Holy Bible, above every other book. I believe in the verbal and plenary inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, known as the Bible, composed of sixty-six books and divided into two departments, Old and New Testaments. I believe the Bible is the Word of God, the full and complete revelation of the plan and history of redemption. It is the sole authority for my faith and conduct in this life.

In a Memo recently to the Board of Trustees, President James D. Leggett shared the following Policy for Tuition costs:
"I am listing the Financial Policy to assist you in recruiting students. I don’t know of any school that provides an education at this cost. We still have room for students.
"Room and Board $850 a semester
Tuition ($70 per credit hour) $1050 (15 credit hours)
Total cost $1900
"If the student is on work study, their room and board is covered and the student only has to exercise faith to raise the tuition of $1050 per semester."
Holmes Bible College needs no less than 100 students for the fall semester. You can assist President Leggett in helping him recruit the students God wants to study at Holmes Bible College this year.
If you feel God is directing you to attend Holmes Bible College, don't delay any longer. Call today, and find out how to register for the fall semester. There is a place for you at this Bible college. You'll be glad you made the call and enrolled in this great Bible college.
