Second Edition of the New Hugh's News newsletter

To God be the glory for the great things He has done. Hugh's News is nothing less than a 21st Century Miracle.
I am reminded of the great hymn that Andrae Crouch wrote, "My Tribute."
1st Stanza:
How can I say thanks
for the things You have done for me?
Things so undeserved,
yet You gave to prove Your love for me;
the voices of a million angels
could not express my gratitude.
All that I am and ever hope to be,
I owe it all to Thee.
Chorus 1:
To God be the glory,
to God be the glory,
to God be the glory
for the things He has done.
Chorus 2:
With His blood He has saved me,
with His power He has raised me;
to God be the glory
for the things He has done.
Bridge:
Just let me live my life,
let it pleasing, Lord to Thee,
and if I gain any praise,
let it go to Calvary.
We never want to take anything for granted and never take the credit to ourselves for God's favor -- the Holy Spirit's intervention in our lives and ministries at the point of our need.
What Isaiah wrote about what God has done is true concerning Hugh's News:
Isaiah 55:8-9
"This plan of mine is not what you would work out, neither are my thoughts the same as yours! For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than yours, and my thoughts than yours.
TLB
We are reminded in Holy Scripture not to despise the day of small beginnings. Here is what Zechariah the prophet wrote:
Zechariah 4:10
For who hath despised the day of small things.
KJV
Hugh's News began 12 years ago (1998) with only 13 active duty IPHC military chaplains. By word of mouth, friend telling another friend, and this electronic newsletter began to grow. We have reached 5,000 readers and we believe God would have us reach for the stars and gain 5,000 more readers. 10,000 readers is within our reach by faith and a lot of hard work. Recently, the new subscribers have been coming in by 10 daily.
Our Mission Statement is clear and concise:
The electronic flagship of communications serving IPHC ministries and the body of Christ worldwide.
But you and I know that we can do better. To achieve our new goal we must have the cooperation and assistance of everyone. Everyone is important. If Hugh's News is meeting a need in your life and you want others to receive the blessing of this free news service, contact your relatives, associates, family, friends, church members, and your pastor. Get them all on board. These winter months are a good time to invite at least 10 people to subscribe.
