Dr. Beacham,
I read your report about Joy Bausum with tears; it is outstanding. It is an outstanding report about an outstanding young lady written in an outstanding way as only you can do it. It was a fitting tribute for Joy from all of the people in World Missions and from the entire IPHC family. I deeply appreciate everything you have done as the Executive Director of World Missions in representing the King, the Kingdom, and the IPHC. You could not have done more!
I also appreciate the tireless, compassionate efforts of Russell Board, Tim and Beth Salley, Harold Dalton, Matt Bennett, the Asian Missionary staff, and the staff of World Missions at the GMC. All have lived up to the World Missions Motto of truly “Making a world of difference” for Joy and for her family. Her parents, family members, and friends will never forget the loving impact IPHC Missions and Missionaries have had on them!
As Presiding Bishop, I express to you the gratitude of a thankful church for your leadership during this crisis! You are a gift to the IPHC and a great asset as we labor together in the ever-changing new world of the 21st century! My love, prayers, and support are with you and your global missionary team daily!
Sincerely,
Ronald W. Carpenter, Sr.
