Presiding Bishop Ronald W. Carpenter reports on the Centennial West

I want to express the deep appreciation that all of us feel to Bishop Chris Thompson for the excellent leadership he has exerted as Chairman of the Centennial Committee in preparing most of the logistical details for the event. We also express our gratitude to the committee for working feverishly with Bishop Thompson in the preparation and execution of both the eastern and western Centennial events.

We cannot adequately express our true appreciation to Dr. Harold Hunter and Erica Rutland for the outstanding and excellent work they did regarding the Archives Display and to Dr. Hunter for his excellent verbal presentation during the Centennial Program! The display is beautiful and certainly worthy of your time. Be sure to stop by and see it in the main foyer of the building if you have not already done so. Thank you Dr. Hunter and Erica Rutland for your diligence in the Archives Department of the IPHC! You are a blessing to all of us!

There were 263 people present today for the event. It will long be remembered as a High, Holy Day in the IPHC and a special day of cooperation between the GMC (Global Ministry Center) and SCU (Southwestern Christian University). Thank you again for being a “special part” of a “very special day”!
