2013 General Conference By-Laws Committee
I know it seems really early to be discussing the 2013 General Conference, but the new guidelines adopted at the 2009 General Conference require the By-Laws Committee (formerly known as the Polity Committee) to be appointed two years in advance of the conference rather than one year as in the past.
In light of this requirement, the Council of Bishops in its meeting in Atlanta, July 18-19, 2011, approved the appointments recommended by the Executive Committee of the Council of Bishops.
You will find the names of the committee personnel and their contact information at the close of this blog (see below).
Their report will be completed by May 1, 2013.
Please feel free at any time in the intervening months to contact these individuals with any constructive recommendations you may have for the IPHC. They are desirous of talking with you and will seriously consider any recommendations you may have for the Committee to incorporate into their report for the 2013 General Conference.
