Philip List did go home today from Wake Medical Hospital. Pastor Riggs [Bizzell Grove] and a church member met them at the home place [their son David lives in the old house] and made sure he got up the 12 steps [through the barn] to their apartment. Philip told the doctor he would go through the barn--we all got a big laugh.
I spoke with Sylvia around 8:30 tonight and she stated he stayed in bed while they went to get his meds and when they returned he was sitting up in the recliner. He returned to bed after they ate some supper.
Philip will need to take it easy for some time while his strength returns. Pray that Gailya and Philip will both get the rest they need during his recovery.
