Pastoral Letter of Condolence to the Family of Mrs. Eula Corvin from Bishop Carpenter, Sr.

Office of the Presiding Bishop
International Pentecostal Holiness Church

January 30, 2012

Mrs. Gwen Corvin Rogers,

Dear Family Members of Eula Corvin:

It is with a sad heart we send greetings to express our sincere condolences on the passing of Eula. Although I didn't personally know her, I did know your dad. I heard him preach/teach, met and spoke with him when I was just a young minister starting out in the IPHC. He was serving as the Assistant General Superintendent of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church at the time I met him. As a pastor, launcher of Southwestern Bible College, the distance learning concept, and many valuable and significant accomplishments that have greatly benefited the church, the IPHC continues to hold both your parents in high esteem. They have made a lasting impact not only on the church, but the world.

We certainly feel the loss of Eula Kathleen Stanton Corvin and know that she was a faithful handmaiden of the Lord with tremendous accomplishments of her own. While we must bid her farewell for a time, her deep roots alongside those of R. O. right here in Oklahoma will never cease producing good fruit. Indeed it can be said that both Raymond and Eula Corvin brought God much Glory by planting seed that is yet flourishing around the globe.

You are truly fortunate to have such wonderful parents in your life. They were both greatly loved and will be greatly missed by the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. We pray earnestly for the comfort of the Holy Spirit believing that 2012 will be a year of good health and blessings for you.

Please feel free to contact this office if we can serve you in any way!

Sincerely,

Original signed
