Our pastor's wife, Laci Williams, gave birth to a 9 lb 9 oz baby boy on 3/30/2011

Congratulations to Pastor J. Brian Williams and his wife, Laci, who gave birth to a baby boy, Wednesday afternoon, March 30, at 5:30 p. m. in an Athens, GA hospital. He (Ori) weighed in at 9 pounds and 9 ounces, measured 21 inches long, and has a head full of black hair. I already have a photo sent by e-mail from Charles Terry who took the photo with his I-phone.

The parents named this boy, Ori. They have two older sons, Eli and Asa. I wish I had the energy and creativity that these boys have. Their vocabulary is amazing, but when you have such intelligent parents like J. Brian and Laci it shouldn't be a surprise.

Pastor J. Brian Williams is an outstanding expository preacher. That is a gift and he really studies and prepares to preach. His wife, Laci, is a third grade teacher at Auburn Elementary School in Auburn, GA near Winder, GA. She was elected the teacher of the year. He is the pastor of Christian Life Worship Center (formerly called Tarkenton Memorial Church) in Athens. It is a Pentecostal Holiness Church and that is where Melvine and I hold our church memberships. We have a good church and it is growing every week. Last Sunday, we had six people to join the church. Out of the six people who joined, four were African Americans.

Pastor Williams was my first webmaster and designed my first website and newsletter format. He worked with me for five years until I made an agreement with Martus Solutions to design what we have today. I am grateful for all the help God has provided. J. Brian and I often have lunch together at my favorite restaurant in Athens called Rafferty's.

The baby and mother are doing well. The baby was delivered by C-Section.
