A new family owned business moved in next door to our church office which is located in a commercial building. New businesses have a tradition of having their office blessed. They noticed our church office, mentioned they’re Catholic but since a pastor is just there he might as well dedicate the office. To make a long story short... what has followed is a weekly Bible Study initiated by the father requiring everyone from his family and employees to attend. And as a result, the entire household including most of their employees accepted Jesus as their Savior.
With this new found faith they began to have a burden for their grandfather’s hometown; more than two hours’ drive from Baguio. They started reaching out to the children each weekend, around 20 children attended their activities included games; they also provided snacks and taught them how to sing and play instruments etc.

One of the sons began sharing the things they had learned in the Bible studies. That’s when the sister challenged him that he shouldn’t do that because he’s not a pastor. But his reply was a simple, “I have to, with what has happened to me; something inside of me is telling me I have to share this experience.” Fast forward to this day, the number of children rose to 200 and recently they celebrated their 1 year anniversary; 400 people attended – 320 kids and teenagers and 80 adults. Life in Jesus Church in Baguio continues to impact our city and beyond.
Prayer points:
*URGENT need for a place to rent for the outreach/church. The Catholic Church actually allowed them to use their church because they no longer had access to the public meeting area. The father has made it clear this is their family’s outreach and has been endorsed to another church.
*The conference plans to provide a pastor to assist this family, with the objective to plant a church there.
*Favor in the community
ON THE MOVE AGAIN
I have enjoyed the home the Lord provided in July of last year; BUT it’s time to look for another place. This was a God-send and I know he can do the same thing again. I’m grateful the notice came 5 months before I need to be out SO once please pray
as the search begins. I can attest to His faithfulness in every area of my life and ministry. Thank you for your love and support.
