Luke 6:38
38 For if you give, you will get! Your gift will return to you in full and overflowing measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use to give-large or small-will be used to measure what is given back to you."
TLB
[Editor's Commentary: Do you believe what Jesus said here in Luke's account? Many people say, "I don't give to get." That statement is completely counter to what Jesus taught. While Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35, KJV). This statement is recorded only in the Book of Acts. It is not written in any of the four Gospel books by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The word "Blessed" here means more productive and more fruitful. Unless we give of what God has given us we will never experience the joy that comes in giving. God will see to it that what we give will come back to us, not necessarily from the person or ministry we may give to, but from others or companies/agencies. It will come from unexpected sources, and God directs the cycle of that kind of money flow. You can't stop it. God will see to it that it happens. It is the Word of Jesus Christ and you can absolutely trust what He says. He will do it.]
