Isaiah 57:18-19 We continue our two-part series of Biblical healing
18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him;
I will also lead him,
And restore comforts to him
And to his mourners.
19 "I create the fruit of the lips:
Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near,"
Says the LORD,
"And I will heal him."
NKJV
[Editor's comment: What a comforting Word from God. First, He knows all about us, the good and the bad, but loves us unconditionally. Twice over in these two verses of Holy Scripture God says He will heal us. It's really enough for God to say it only once, but God like a mother or father will speak the same thing over and over again until we get it.
God says He will lead us, lead us to the right doctors and medical help. First, we bring our need for healing to God, and we have opportunity in our churches to request that the elders of the church and other people lay hands on us with their prayers for our healing. I personally like to have my pastor anoint me with olive oil and pray in the Name of Jesus.
In the midst of our sickness and suffering God promises to bring us comfort and give us peace in the midst of it all. Our God promises peace to those who are far off, far away from God, as well as those who are near. Regardless of your spiritual condition, you are encouraged to come to God for His healing touch and blessing in your life.
The bottom line is that God promises to heal us. If you need healing this day, claim your healing just now. I have seen this Scripture bring healing to many people over the years of the ministry God has given me. God can do the impossible and do what no other power can do.
