1 Thessalonians 5:23, 24,
“May God Himself, the God Who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One Who called you is completely dependable. If He said it. He will do it! (The Message, Eugene H. Peterson).
One of the many things that our daughter, Stephanie, taught me was to "Give Voice" to the Word of God.
We have a lot of our people, including myself, who need healing. I am claiming a creative miracle.
I would like for us to designate a given Sunday for Creative Miracles Sunday. We have to give voice to that concept or belief. I believe God will honor it, and we can expect people to get healed by the supernatural healing virtue of Jesus.
Janice Robinson Russ and Bishop Wesley Potter needs a creative miracle. So does Hugh Morgan. I am including myself in that ring. We use to play marbles and we would make a large ring and knock mables out of that ring. If we did, and I did often, we got to keep them. My mother wanted me to play for fun. I said, "No, I play for keeps." Otherwise, why would I play marbles?
I am serious and believe that God's healing power is available today. The above Scripture reminds us that God can, and will, and wants to make us whole. Do you remember the chorus we use to sing? "Only Trust Him." Let us agree to trust Him (Jesus) to heal our bodies.
1 Come, every soul by sin oppressed,
there's mercy with the Lord,
and He will surely give you rest
by trusting in His Word.
Refrain:
Only trust Him, only trust Him,
only trust Him now;
He will save you, He will save you.
He will save you now.
2 For Jesus shed His precious blood
rich blessings to bestow;
plunge now into the crimson flood
that washes white as snow. [Refrain]
3 Yes, Jesus is the truth, the way,
that leads you into rest;
believe in Him without delay,
and you are fully blest. [Refrain]
4 Come, then, and join this holy band,
and on to glory go,
to dwell in that celestial land
where joys immortal flow. [Refrain]
