Today was a red letter day for Hugh's News, Inc.
We needed $270 to make the budget for August of $1,000. So many people participated and gave generously.
Today, two subscribers helped us to reach our goal.
First, there was Air Force Chaplain, Lt Colonel, Randy and Sheila Sellers. They are currently stationed at Randolf AFB, San Antonio, TX. They gave a substantial gift via their credit card.
When I checked our street side mail box there was only one letter. It was from Anita and Allon Gentry with a check inside. They reside in Valrico, Florida. Anita's words of appreciation for Hugh's News was so encouraging and affirming. Their personal check help put us over the top.
It takes a team to put this newsletter together. I am dependent on Mel Tinney, my webmaster for about 9 or 10 years. He does so much in the background to keep this ship afloat. He sizes all the photos and many other things. And of course, you, our subscribers and readers, are what it all about, and you have shown repeatedly you love this ministry and are willing to support it. We count on your support.
I want to thank all who gave to help us to reach our budget for August. We did come through the summer without participating in a summer slump. PTL!
