"The children and staff of Turbeville Children's Home will be presenting a production entitled, "The Ragamuffin Bear and the Forgotten Toy Box"--an original play written by a former student and staff member of Falcon Children's Home & Family Services.
This celebration service will be similar in many ways to FCHFS's annual Harvest Train celebration held at the North Carolina Conference the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Just as Harvest Train will focus on how God is using the ministry of FCHFS to impact the lives of children in North Carolina, the Hope Train will focus on how God is using Turbeville Children's Home to make a difference in the lives of children and families in South Carolina.
The event will begin promptly at 6:00 pm with a pre-service gospel singing with the Taylor Family. You can find out more about them by visiting their website at www.thetaylorsmusic.com.
Meanwhile, the South Carolina Conference will be serving supper in their cafeteria from 5:30 - 6:15 for those who want to come early to eat. The South Carolina Camp-meeting will be ending on Wednesday night and the cafeteria is going to remain open to serve supper to Hope Train guests who would like to come. The cost is $5.00 per person.
