The story is told about a mother who took her twin boys to a new school and got them registered after moving into a new community.
She walked with them to their classroom and left.
The teacher warmly welcomed the twin boys to her class.
Then, she spoke to one of the boys by pointing to him and asked, "What is your name?"
The boy said, "My name is Cornbread."
The teacher said, "We don't play games in this class. What is your name?"
Again he said, "My name is Cornbread."
The teacher said, "I will give you one more chance to tell me your name, and if you don't I will send you to the Principal. Do you understand?"
"This is the last time, What is your name?" said the teacher.
The boy gave the same answer, "Cornbread."
Then, the teacher said, "You will now go to the Principal's Office. Go out the door, turn right, and the Principal's Office will be the third door on your left."
The boy said to his brother, "Buttermilk, You had better come and go with me. The teacher will never believe you either."
