Do you remember when you got saved, converted, born again?
I was only six years old when Jesus saved me by His grace and I remember it as if it were yesterday. I knew in my heart that my sins were forgiven and my name was written in heaven.
As I thought about the man and his 12-year-old daughter I met on Tuesday (the man who declared he is an Atheist), I prayed that the Holy Spirit will convict him of his sins, that he needs a Savior and that he cannot save himself. Then, I begin to sing a song we used to sing often when I was growing up in the church, "A New Name Written Down in Glory." Do you know that song?
Therefore, that is the Gospel song we will sing today.

Here are the lyrics:
1 I was once a sinner,
but I came
Pardon to receive from my Lord.
This was freely given, and I found
That He always kept His W-ord.
Chorus:
There's a new name Written down in glory,
And it's mine, (And it's mine,)
oh yes, it's mine! (yes, it's mine!)
And the white-robed Angels sing the story,
"A sinner has come home." (home, has come home."
For there's a new name written down in glory,
And it's mine, (And it's mine,)
oh yes, it's mine! (yes, it's mine!)
With my sins forgiven I am bound for heaven,
Nevermore to roam.
2 I was humbly kneeling at the cross,
Fearing naught but God's angry frown,
When the heavens opened and I saw
That my name was written down.
[Chorus]
3 In the Book 'tis written, "Saved by grace."
Oh the joy that came to my soul!
Now I am forgiven, and I know
y the blood I am made whole.
[Chorus]
