FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA. -- The Emmanuel College Women's Basketball Team took on Carver Bible College for Saturday's game. After a dominant performance over Bob Jones just two days ago, the ladies carried the momentum over and shut down Carver Bible 75-37.
The Lions outshot the Cougars in field goals, three-points, and out-rebounded them 42-30. After taking a quick lead in the first quarter, Emmanuel never looked back. By half time the ladies were leading 43-21. This game allowed the Lions to dig deeper into their bench and gave some of the younger ladies more experience on the court. The bench did well bringing a total of 31 points with them. The Lions finished off the cougars 75-37.
The Lions were led by Taylor Delasbour (#34) with 19 points. Mikayla Trombley (#3) followed close behind with 18 points.
The Ladies will continue action on Monday when they take on Truett-McConnell at home. Tip off is set for 6:00 p. m.
