According to David Roberson "The first services were in Dalton Ward's home basement. He was a faithful servant of the Lord who gave sacrificially financially to build Gods Kingdom through the Capital Church."

[Editor's Comment: I went online to find an obituary for Dalton Ward at the Bryan Lee Funeral Home. It has not been posted as yet. No doubt it will be published on Monday, and I will endeavor to get this information to you. We thank God for men like Dalton Ward who have been willing to help start and stay with a local church. We bless the life and legacy of this man of God, and pray that the blessed Holy Spirit will bring comfort to his family. I am grateful to my good friend David Roberson for alerting me of this news story.]
