In the early 60s at Emmanuel College Mrs. Mary Frances Ross chose "Take Time To Be Holy" as one of the songs used on choir tour. That year's theme included songs confirming the five basic doctrines of the Pentecostal Holiness Church: Salvation, Sanctification, Baptism with the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing and Second Coming of Christ.
I memorized all the words to "Take Time To Be Holy" and from time to time mentally sing it to myself in my personal devotions. If I were ever in a situation where I was denied use of a printed Bible the words of this one song has all the Gospel included.
No disrespect to my brother Wesley Russ' comments on "off the wall" but I haven't found an "off the wall" presentation yet that can match "Take Time To Be Holy."
We love Wesley and Janice Russ. Leola and I were classmates with them at Emmanuel College.
