Janice is a warrior. She never gives up or quits. She is constantly trusting God to bring her though this dark night of the soul where she has suffered untold pain. The treatment at times no doubt felt worse than the disease. Wesley, her husband of more than 50 years has tenderly cared for Janice through it all.
We are reminded in Scripture that "Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people" (Matthew 4:23, KJV).
Then we are told in the Book of Acts "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: Who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him" (Acts 10:38, KJV).
It is easy to think or believe that those healing miracles occurred way back in Biblical days and never think of them happening today. Why not? The writer of the Book of Hebrews wrote this: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" (Hebrews 13:8, NIV). I believe the Bible instructs us to believe God for miracles in our lives today.
Janice will have a PET Scan on Monday, November 7, at 10:30 a. m. Join with me and Wesley and Janice in believing that this scientific scan will reveal the eradication of all cancer in Janice's body. What a day that will be. Prevailing prayer touches the heart of God and surely He will hear and answer our fervent prayers for His servant, Janice Robinson Russ.
We will give God all the glory, honor, and praise for His healing power.
