Dr. Morgan,
Good morning! I hope that you and your family are doing well. This is the first time I have been able to get on my computer and write e-mails sent last Wednesday, but I wanted to personally thank you for the concern and prayers for Cairssa and me. Also for asking others around the world to remember us in prayer.
This past week, on Monday night I begin to have a “gallbladder attack” and it was Thursday before I was able to have my gallbladder removed. By then I was in severe pain. The gallbladder had become severely infected and attached to my diaphragm. This was causing severe pain and shortness of breath.
I was dismissed from the Taylor Regional Hospital Sunday evening but was instructed that I did not need to travel to my residence in Milledgeville, GA until after my follow-up appointment. So we are at our son’s home in Cochran, GA until Thursday. (They discouraged me from making any long distance trips for a couple of weeks.)
I am thankful for so many things this morning. God’s grace is sufficient when we are weak! I thank God for the right surgeon for this procedure but most of all for the Great Physician. I am also thankful for the many friends around the world that have sent messages, called, or visited. I am especially thankful for my IPHC and LifePoint Ministries family that have supported Carissa and me during this time. My family has been there for me as well. In addition, I am thankful for so many people who have shown their concern and prayers for Carissa and me. Please express my thanks and appreciation for the many prayers.
I am now on the road to recovery and look forward to being back about the Father’s business really soon.
Thanks again for your support and prayers.
Blessings,
Tim Lamb
Bishop Tim Lamb is the superintendent of the LifePoint Ministries (Georgia) Conference. We have all been greatly concerned about him and together have made our voices heard in heaven on behalf of our conference leader and our first lady, Carissa Lamb. Please continue praying for our conference superintendent and his wife.
