I read the other day in a business article that it is common now for college and university graduates to have trouble on their jobs, but not because they lack intelligence or the necessary academic training. Instead, it is because they can't take correction, having been shielded from it during much of their upbringing and education.
"You may be my boss, but you making me feel bad, which makes you a bad person, since I am a good person and therefore a good employee."
The sage of the ages wrote,
Proverbs 13:18
He who ignores discipline comes to poverty and shame,
but whoever heeds correction is honored.
