I just wanted to share with you that we have received an assignment to serve one year in South Korea. Of course this is a volatile time for that region of the world, so I welcome the prayerful support for me and my family. The calling of a military Chaplain is to serve both God and country. Brave men and women are already standing in harm’s way to ensure safety for America and our Allies. I am honored that God has directed my steps to go and stand alongside those servicemembers.
Over the past couple of weeks, I have enjoyed reading and rereading the commentary you have posted on Hugh's News regarding the prophecy about the reunification of North and South Korea. I anticipate this will be a fruitful year where I intend to grow spiritually and culturally. Thank you for all of your support.
[Editor's Comment: I am so very proud of Chaplain Chad Bellamy, his wife, Jeri, and their three wonderful children: Parker, Daisy and Asher. Parker will be attending Emmanuel College in the fall.
This will be a remote assignment for Chad. This is his second remote assignment if I recall correctly. Chad has been taking the Air Command and Staff College professional military school in residence at the Air University at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, Alabama. He will be graduating in the near future.
Join me in praying for Chad Bellamy and his family. Our investment in this outstanding Air Force chaplain will outlast time itself. I believe Chad is going to South Korea for such a time as this. His assignment was directed by God. I hope he will be a part of the great revival that has been prophesied to move all across this peninsula and reunite the two countries. God has done it before, 100 years ago, and He can do it again.]
