[Editor's Comment: I met Dr. Douglas Jernigan but did not know him well. He was well known in Pentecostal/Charismatic circles. He was a gifted and talented educator and his influence and investment in the lives of countless thousands of students has been phenomenal. To Marilyn and his children and grandchildren Melvine and I send our love and prayers in your time of grief.
It is with deep appreciation and gratitude that I want to thank Laban West for alerting me to the death of our dear brother in Christ and for the obituary and funeral arrangements. In addition, I want to thank Mel Tinney, my faithful and loyal webmaster for sizing the photo of Brother Douglas Jernigan.]
