Hugh Morgan, my father, had a better day today. He still has a tube in his nose connected to his stomach, but they definitely say that the tube will come out tomorrow and that dad will be able to eat a liquid diet again. Dad says that he keeps dreaming of a huge container of vanilla ice cream. (If it were me, I’d be dreaming of chocolate.) Pray that his hospital visit will wrap up soon so that he can start rehab.
He specifically asked to ask you, our wonderful readers, to pray that he gets into a facility called The Oaks. It is a new rehabilitation center not far from our church, Christian Life Worship Center IPHC, in Athens, Georgia. In fact, it’s on the same street! As you can imagine, that would be quite convenient for our family. Also, our church family could easily visit him too.
When I visited dad this evening he was in good spirits. The nurses have been bragging on him. Evidently he is a good patient.
Thank you so much for your love and prayers,
Greg
