Navy Chaplain Timothy R. Moore to ride a motorcycle in Run for the Wall Israel 2011

Navy Chaplain Timothy R. Moore is one of our IPHC chaplains serving our country on active duty with the United States Coast Guard.  He has asked my assistance in raising $2,000 to help him with this trip to Israel for the Run For The Wall Israel. You can be a vital part of their mission which is to bring hope, support and love to those who defend their country, Israel.

Who: My name is Tim Moore. I am an active duty US Navy Chaplain currently serving with the US Coast Guard supporting the Fifth District.

My responsibilities are to provide religious ministry and support to the men and women of USCG from middle-New Jersey through North Carolina. I attend both Western Branch Community Church and Parkway Christian Center. I am an ordained minister with the Upper South Carolina Conference, International Pentecostal Holiness Church. I am married (24 years) to Pam Moore and we have four children; Jessica (Freshman at Thomas Nelson Community College) following three years of service with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), Isaac (Junior at Old Dominion University), Emily (Freshman at Fuller Advanced School of Massage Therapy) and Joseph (starting Kindergarten at Chittum Elementary).

What: In November 2011, I have the opportunity to participate in a historic event. Run for the Wall Israel is a first-ever ministry of its kind. Over 100 motorcycle riders will ship their bikes to Israel and ride for 10 days throughout the Holy Land to honor Israeli Defense Force (IDF) veterans of war. Our mission is to bring hope, support and love to those who defend their country.

Our faith teaches us to honor and pray for Israel, God’s chosen people. We will take the Word of God on a bandana (Psalm 91) written in Hebrew and English and present one to every IDF soldier we encounter. We will visit and work in soup kitchens to feed the hungry. In order to honor those who have died for their country we will plant trees to memorialize brave veterans. Our message: “The churches of America honor you and are praying for you.”

Chaplain Moore will be out of the country November 1-11, 2011. His command has approved his leave and the Department of Defense has approved his involvement with this ministry in the country of Israel.

Need
: I have faith that God has called me to this ministry. My twelve years of military ministry has equipped me to speak faith to these young IDF soldiers and veterans. Because God has called me, I know He will make a way for me to get there. I need to raise another $2,000. I would like to ask you to prayerfully and financially support me in this ministry and take part in the fruit of this ministry. Jesus’ commission to us, “Go into all the world” combined with his words recorded in John 17:25-26, has compelled me to adopt my life’s goal: “to know Him and make Him known to others.”

[Editor's Comment: Tim Moore was the first chaplain I endorsed after I became director/endorser of Chaplains Ministries, IPHC. I have traveled almost everywhere to visit him and his family: New Jersey, North Carolina, Sicily, Hawaii, and Virginia. He is for real. He was involved with this year's Camp-o-rama at Brown Summit, NC, and gave the daily devotions. He emphasized constantly that God is already creating within you His plan, be sensitive to it. He related how God had impressed him as a young boy with a love for military and a desire to serve. Never in his wildest imagination could he have conceived God's plan to bring him where he is today. Tim reports that God is giving him opportunity to pray with and minister to an admiral.

Chaplain Moore has been selected for promotion to the rank of Commander, which is equivalent to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force, Army, and Marine Corps. It is apparent that God's hand is upon his life and ministry. Join me in sending a contribution to enable Chaplain Tim Moore to go to Israel for this Run for the Wall Israel.]
