If you are a conference leader, church planter, or if you're interested in becoming part of the church planting movement, "Going Missional" is for you. This two-day training event is designed to iform and instruct church leaders in church planting.
Bishop Chris Thompson is the Executive Director of Evangelism USA. Prior to being elected to serve in his current post, he was the superintendent of the North Carolina Conference. He is known as a great preacher and teacher, as well as an administrator. His varied experience as a pastor and conference superintendent has prepared him for his ministry today. He gave leadership to many new church plants in his conference, especially among the Hispanics. He and Betty, his wife, reside in Oklahoma City.
The Rev. Mr. Stacy Hilliard is the Director of Church Multiplication. Stacy D. Hilliard is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and Hazlehurst, Mississippi. He is the founding pastor of Breakthrough Revival Center Church, Inc., where he has served for more than a decade and made Greenville, North Carolina his home. He and his wife, Bobbie, have two daughters, Hannah and Phoebe. However, they have moved to Oklahoma City where he serves in the Evangelism USA offices. He is one of the finest preachers in the IPHC. He gave a powerful prophetic message in Falcon, NC, recently for the Centennial Merger Celebration.
Our guest speaker, Ed Stetzer, has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches. He has trained pastors and church pastors on five continents, holds two masters degrees and two doctorates, and has written dozens of articles and books.
Ed is a contributing editor for Christianity Today, a columnist for Outreach Magazine and Catalyst Monthly, serves on the advisory council of Sermon Central and Christianity Today's Building Church Leaders, and is frequently cited or interviewed in news outlets like USA Today and CNN. He is also President of LifeWay Research and is LifeWay's Missiologist in Residence.
