Dr. Don and Sue Brady, a well-known dentist from Franklin Springs, GA, contacted me today, Sunday, February 7, 2010, via e-mail about the death of Don's niece, Lisa Michelle Maxwell Seay. She is the daughter of Don's sister Janice Brady Maxwell. Don and Sue are in Phoenix, Arizona, where Lisa and her family reside.
I called Sue's cell phone and talked with her and Don early Sunday morning.
Melvine and I, along with many of you, my readers, have prayed for Lisa's healing of a brain tumor for several years. Although God did not heal her in this life, we are confident that she is healed in heaven. We must always remember that God is Sovereign, and He has the last Word on everything and every person. We, also, know that nothing can ever separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:39).
Let me share the obituary about Lisa Michelle Maxwell Seay with you from a hyperlink that Don gave me. (click on hyperlink below to view the obiturary with a photo of Lisa:

Obituary for Lisa Michell Maxwell Seay
Lisa Michelle Seay is flying with the angels after a nearly four-year battle with a brain tumor, which ended February 4, 2010.
She was born August 13, 1961, in Dunn, NC. After graduating from high school in Oregon, she went on to complete her Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.
Lisa Married Howard Seay in 1991, and they were blessed with three wonderful boys. Lisa was a beautiful and talented singer and dancer who appeared in many productions with her family and friends at Phoenix First Assembly including over 10 years as a flying angel in the Christmas and Easter pageants.
Lisa will be forever in the hearts of her husband Howard, her sons, Brady 16, Harrison 13, and Blake 10 along with her parents Sherrill and Janice Maxwell, and sister, Lori (Earl) Simmons. She will be missed dearly on Earth, but Heaven now has a beautiful new angel. A celebration for Lisa will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at 11 a. m. at Phoenix First Assembly of God.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lisa's name to the Phoenix First Assembly Fine Arts Scholarship.
[Editor's note: Lisa attended Emmanuel College from 1978-1980, and graduated in 1980. You will remember her as Lisa Maxwell. Let us remember this outstanding Christian family in our prayers at this time of grief and sadness. Don is very close to his sister, Janice, as well as his brother, Wayne. There was another brother in the Brady family whose name is Kenneth, better known affectionately as Ish Brady who is deceased.
