In a communication from President James D. Leggett Thursday evening, September 8, he is asking our help, yours and mine, to pay for the completion of the new dormitory at Holmes Bible College debt free. He explains below the photo of this dormitory:
A Message from the heart of Dr. James D. Leggett, president of Holmes Bible College
The Lord has blessed in the building of the much needed dorm. We are nearing completion and hope to occupy the rooms by October 1. It will be a beautiful building with four suites(halls) with five rooms and a lounge in each suite.
The Lord has supplied $350,000 on the dorm, and we need at least $150,000 more to finish the building debt free. We are believing the Lord to supply the funds so that no more debt will be added. You can help make this possible with your contribution.
1. SUITE /HALL
You could name one of the four suites(halls) for a contribution of $70,000. Two of the halls are already named.
2. ROOM OR BRICK WITH NAME AND BIO
You could name one of the (20) rooms for a gift of $5,000 or you could honor or memorialize a loved one or friend on the Wall of Faith with the name and a bio line.
3. LISTING OF NAME ON WALL OF FAITH
You could honor or memorialize a person with a listing on the Wall of Faith for a gift of at least $500.
A local church could also make one of these gifts and the name of the church would be listed in the appropriate place. Some, like the Wing Kwong Church in Hong Kong and the North Carolina Conference have already contributed and will be listed.

The key to giving is obeying what God speaks to you in your heart to give. Peter responded to Jesus' command to him after he had fished all night and had caught nothing: "He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch" (Luke 5:4, NKJV). Peter said, ". . . nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net" (Luke 5:5, NKJV).
Miracles happen when people obey God. One example is the turning of the water to wine. The mother of Jesus told the servants at the wedding in Cana, "Whatever He says to you, do it" (John 2:5, NKJV). The servants filled six stone waterpots of water holding twenty or thirty gallons of water. When the servants poured out the water it turned to wine. The miracle happened in obedience to the Word of Jesus.
The miracle of paying for this new dormitory will happen as you and I obey God.
Let us give as the Lord speaks to our hearts to assist President James D. Leggett in paying for this new dorm so that it will be debt free, and lift this burden from off the shoulders of this good man.
Most of all, your contribution will count for time and eternity as you invest in the education of students who will study the Bible and other subjects at Holmes Bible College in preparation for their respective ministries in the kingdom of God and the church.
