So many of you have asked me if I have heard anything from Mrs. Jean Williams. I have learned in all of this since we learned of her stroke on the last day of December 2011, that her first name is Bonnie. So, she is Bonnie Jean Williams. What a lovely name. I never knew that before. Maybe some of you North Carolinians knew that.
Since I am not in touch with her family I do not have the information that is needed to report to you.
However, I have learned through Bishop Chris Thompson, executive director of Evangelism USA and chairman of Chaplains Ministries, IPHC Board that Mrs. Williams was scheduled to go a rehabilitation center on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, in Oklahoma City.
Bishop Thompson's wife, Betty, has had been blessed to sit with Mrs. Bonnie Jean Williams on several days. They are all in the same conference, the North Carolina Conference, and have been friends for many years. Chris Thompson wrote, "Mrs. Williams has been very special to the Thompson family."
May I urge you to continue praying for Mrs. Bonnie Jean Williams and her family. I do know the sons of Bishop and Mrs. J. Floyd Williams: Jay, James and Jonathan.
