Jim Ganey, a former basketball coach at Emmanuel College and a friend to all of us who are connected with Emmanuel College, in Franklin Springs, GA, requests your prayers for him now and prior to his surgery at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta on Wednesday, June 8. He will enter the hospital on Tuesday, June 7.
Jim will have surgery to repair the descending aorta that has enlarged. This surgery will be his third in three years. Some of the best surgeons in the nation are at Emory University Hospital. However, Doctor Jesus is greater and will guide the surgeon's hands.
You know there are only two kinds of surgery: major and minor. What doctors do on others is minor. What they do on us is major.
I know you will be praying for Jim, as well as Gladys, his faithful and devoted wife, and his loving family.
