It gives me a great deal of pleasure to report to you that our good friend, Jim Ganey of Franklin Springs, GA, had successful open heart surgery on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
The surgery was scheduled for early Wednesday morning. The surgeon repaired the descending aorta with success and Jim is resting well in the ICU. His color is good. I talked with Gladys, his wife, by telephone and she gave me this glowing report.
Let us continue our prayers for Jim for his rapid and full recovery, and complete healing. Remember Gladys and their children, too.
