If you are like me, I know you are thinking of the gifts you want to give to your family and friends for Christmas. You may not have the kind of money you once had, but I have found that an investment in a book is a wonderful thing. I love books and I enjoying reading.
Shortly after Jack Shaw's book, Little by Little, was published I received a copy of it and read it immdeiately. I could not put it down. Jack, a friend since our college days at Emmanuel, had written the book. I knew Jack, and I was thrilled to read what he had written about his life's experiences in a winsome way that revealed great wisdom, life principles, an abiding faith and confidence in God, and a man who had seen tough times as well as good times. What he learned from his father, he has taught to his children, as he practiced what he was taught and came to believe was true. His book is far more than gaining wealth, but finding a life in Jesus Christ that is worth it all. He weaves evangelism in to his book by presenting Jesus Christ in a winsome way that disarms the reader, and it grabs you where you might be in your spiritual journey. It is my hunch that God is using this book to draw men to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives. That's the reason I can promote Jack's book.
Little by Little is a book every man should read. I would recommend it to your sons in elementary and high school, as well as college, or in any career field. They will learn something about hard work and being persistent in life that will ring true for them.
Jack wrote me earlier this week and has made a gracious offer of his book to those who might be interested in purchasing it. Melvine and I have ordered and sent the money for two hard back copies to give to two of our friends for Christmas.

"From these proceeds, I will I will pay $2.00 per copy to Hugh’s News and at the purchaser’s request, $5.00 per copy to Emmanuel College, Holmes Bible College or Southwestern Christian University.
"Also, for Christmas purchases I will pay the shipping costs.
