Last Sunday, February 27, 2011, I was in Oklahoma City, OK, and worshiped at River of Life Church, formerly Muse Memorial Church. Dick Goad is the pastor and he is one of the best.
The worship service from beginning to end was anointed by the Holy Spirit. Mark Taylor and his wife, Virginia Synan, and another lady sang in a trio, and ministered to us. Later, Dr. James D. Leggett, president of Holmes Bible College, preached a masterpiece based on Psalm 150. He took us from Genesis to Revelation, and we were almost raptured in the Spirit.
One of the songs that Mark Taylor and his trio sang was a song that Mark had written. It touched a chord of truth in my heart and my soul rejoiced. It was just what I had been looking for. I hope it will minister to you by reading the words.
"I Cry Out to You!"
Words and music by J. Mark Taylor
December 2, 2008
Stanza 1:
You are the answer to every question I have when things are unclear.
You are the wisdom, beyond comprehension;
O Lord, I’m glad that You’re here.
Stanza 2:
So many questions, so many reasons, my heart could fall into fear;
O, but You are the answer; You are my hope.
You’re my Jesus, the One I revere.
CHORUS:
So I cry out to You; Jesus, my heart turns to You;
You’re the Giver of wisdom to all who believe, and I do;
Jesus, I cry out to You.
Stanza 3:
You are the Healer; You are the Giver of life. Your love has no end.
You are the Mender; you’re my soul’s Defender; O Lord, on You I depend.
BRIDGE:
There’s no mistaking, when my soul is aching,
In sleeping or waking, my courage is breaking,
I’m tired of the waiting; my faith is deflating,
My heart is debating, and anticipating Your Word, Your Word
