Hugh's News is a faith-based electronic newsletter serving IPHC ministries and the body of Christ worldwide.

Although we have more than 5,000 readers around the world in more than 20 countries in 22 time zones, very few faithful readers contribute to this ministry.

I can tell you that every contribution is received as a sacred trust, we receive those gifts with gratitude to Almighty God, first of all, and for moving on the hearts and pocketbooks of those who give to support this ministry.

This is a ministry God has raised up, and its success now over 14 years can only be attributed to the overarching blessing of God and His favor.

My role is to write, to collect the news, verify it as accurate, seek permission to print it, and organize it in a readable format for you my readers.

I will be retiring from my position as director/endorser of Chaplains Ministries, IPHC in October 2012. What will I do? That is a good question. I plan to attend the University of Georgia to take art lessons to learn how to be a better artist in drawing portraits of people and eventually do caricatures.This is a burning desire I have had all of my life, and now the opportunity is finally surfacing for me to accomplish that dream.

However, I want to continue doing Hugh's News as along as I have a sound mind, and nimble fingers, and energy to do so. Of course, I will need you my readers to feed the fast breaking news, and support Hugh's News with your prayers and financial gifts. This is the mission God has given to me. It takes a team to accomplish this ministry. I need you to be a member of my team.

I have recently purchased our Web Domain rights for 10 more years (including the 2 years remaining on my contract). So, Lord willing, and God keeps me healthy, my fingers nimble, my mind alert and sharp, and my heart pure, I hope to be doing Hugh's News for at least 10 more years. We are currently celebrating 14 years of continuous electronic journalism.

I must confess to you that I need your financial assistance. It costs money to operate this newsletter. In recent weeks, I have listed the expenses we incur monthly and our projected budget.

You can be a partner with me in producing Hugh's News. I need people who will be willing to give monthly to Hugh's News, Inc. a not for profit evangelical corporation. A few have begun to do that. Today, more than 5,000 readers are enjoying Hugh's News. However, very few of my readers have ever contributed to this ministry. Although I am sure those who read my newsletter are blessed, but somehow just never get around to making a contribution for the service that is rendered accurately, consistently, and faithfully. I understand that we are all busy, and somehow it slips our minds. We are human. Sometimes a little reminder can be useful. I have noted that whenever I get a letter from the IRS, I will open it immediately. Somehow the name IRS gets my attention. How about you?

Hugh's News is dependent upon your financial support to keep us up-to-date with paying our bills.

We are now in the month of November and December is about to appear. Now is the time to consider what God would have you give to support this electronic ministry. It is important to plan what you want to give before the end of 2011.

You are getting news here that you will not find any other place with such speed and accuracy in reporting. It takes time, effort, and money to make it all happen at a moment's notice.

God has been faithful and continues to be faithful to us for over 14 years of the existence of this electronic ministry. He has touched the hearts and the pocketbooks of those who have given to this ministry. And I am grateful. It is with the voice of thanksgiving that I proclaim God's favor and goodness to Hugh's News through the generous gifts from some of you.

It is my prayer that I will always present a positive message that lifts up Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World. Jesus came to save sinners, and to give them eternal life. Therefore, evangelism is a top priority for me, because it is the heartbeat of Jesus.
