It is hard to believe that one year ago the executives of Hugh's News, Inc. and Martus Solutions LLC signed a contractual agreement to design the website and newsletter format of Hugh's News, manage the website and newsletter distribution, and be available 24/7 as needed for professional consultation.
Hugh Morgan, CEO and Founder of Hugh's News, Inc. drove over to Greenville, SC, on Monday, December 13, 2010, to meet with Bill Cox, CEO and owner of Martus Solutions LLC, Mel Tinney the Webmaster, and Seth Cain who designed the website and newsletter, to celebrate this partnership that has been fruitful and profitable for both corporations.
It is the hope of Bill Cox and Hugh Morgan that this partnership will continue for many years to come, and that this electronic newsletter that presently has over 5,000 readers will continue to grow and be beneficial to both ministries.
In weeks and months to come, Bill Cox will be writing articles about what Martus Solutions can do for your church as well as your conference. I know I wish I had had the software to chart the Sunday school enrollment and attendance when I was director of Protestant Religious Education at Elmenforf AFB, Alaska, 1967-1970. I charted it all by hand on a chart that Graphics Arts did for me.
God helped us to build the largest Sunday school in the Air Force with over 1,500 students in attendance. Bill Cox is the vice chairman of the Board of Trustees at Emmanuel College. He and his company work closely with Greg Hearn, CEO of LifeSprings Resources, in providing software accounting and reporting services for local churches, as well as conferences.
Mel Tinney is my webmaster. He is a professional in every sense of the word, as well as a genuine Spirit-filled Christian gentleman. He has been available 24/7 with answers to my myriad of questions as I encountered technical problems that were really only a learning curve exercise that eventually I was able to master as I learned a new system of doing an electronic newsletter. He is a gifted teacher with a great deal of patience. I could not have asked for a better webmaster with whom to work, as well as the man who sizes all the photos according to specifications, and many other things to make Hugh's News ready for publication.
Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of Seth Cain. He is is the genius who designed our website and newsletter. I am grateful for his professional ability in designing these two important parts of Hugh's News. He is one of three pastors at one of our IPHC churches in Greer, SC, that is rapidly growing. He and Brad Cox, son of Bill Cox, are the two lead pastors. Ernest Barr is the pastor emeritus and consultant to these young pastors who are doing a phenomenal job as gifted leaders. I know that Seth Cain is an exceptional writer and he teaches English at Holmes Bible College. It is my opinion we will be hearing more and more good news out of Brad Cox and Seth Cain in years to come.
