Well, time keeps on marching and we get older day by day. However, we don't count the years of advancement in years but once a year.
On Wednesday, I, Hugh H. Morgan, will be 78 years old. I was born December 15, 1932, in Birmingham, AL, at Hilman Hospital which today is a small building at the University of Alabama Medical Center.
I was born in the family of Pentecostal Holiness ministers, my father, Hugh Henry Morgan, a bi-vocational church planter, evangelist, pastor, teacher, cowboy and home builder (carpenter). My mother Julia Payne Morgan was a returned missionary to China from 1920-1929. Both my parents were graduates of Holmes Missionary and Bible Institute when N. J. Holmes was the president.
Melvine, my bride of 50+ years, will be 76 years old on Thursday, December 16. She was born in Leaksville, NC in 1934. So, for one day a year I am 3 years older than Melvine.
Melvine and I are not Senior Citizens. We are members of the Chronologically Gifted Persons in America Today.

We are blessed to have two adult children, Greg and Stephanie. Greg is a music teacher in Atlanta and teaches private piano and voice lessons. Stephanie is a kindergarten teacher at Statham Elementary School in Statham, GA, near where we live in Winder, GA. Most of all, we are grateful they are Christians. Greg attends Mount Paran North Church of God in Atlanta, and Stephanie is a member of Cornerstoe Church of God in East Athens, GA.
